PAMPHYLIA. Side. Circa 360-333 BC. Stater (Silver, 21 mm, 10.23 g, 12 h). Athena standing front, head to left, holding Nike in her right hand and shield and spear in her left; in field to left, pomegranate. Rev. Apollo standing left, holding patera in his right hand and laurel scepter in his left; before him to left, lighted altar; at feet to right, raven standing left; to right, uncertain Sidetan inscription; to left, Sidetan letter. Atlan 112.2 (Ö95/A104) and pl. V, 112 = SNG von Aulock 4771 (this coin). SNG Paris 644. A nicely toned piece with an illustrious pedigree. Some scratches, otherwise, very fine.
